MSN Cars can exclusively reveal that just 13 drivers have been fined for lane hogging on the M25 since new laws were introduced last year – while thousands are still penalised for breaking the speed limit. The law was changed on 16 August 2013 to give police officers the power to fine motorists £100 for sitting in the middle lane of the motorway, or any other form of driving considered “careless”, such as tailgating.
The 2010 Citroen C3
We first reported on the 2010 Citroen C3 back in June when Citroen released details of their new C3, but we had to wait until the Frankfurt Motor Show for the official launch of the C3. But now, five months after we first got to see where Citroen where going with the C3, they’ve released a humongous press release with every nuance of detail every prospective C3 buyer could need, so we thought we ought to do a quick re-cap / update on what the 2010 C3 has to offer in the UK. The Citroen C3 has been a big seller for Citroen – over 2 million have been shifted in one form or another – so it’s important to Citroen that they get the 2010 C3 right.
Adding more grist to the new-Toyota-sports-car mill, the automaker has filed with the USPTO for a “Supra” trademark covering “Automobiles and structural parts thereof.”
On one hand, it's routine for companies to protect their dormant trademarks; Toyota previously filed to protect the "Supra" mark back in 2010; that protection expired on January 27th of this year. The new filing was made on Feburary 10th, in the midst of the post-Detroit, FT-1 enthusiast froth. We can't help but hold out hope that there's a bit more weight behind this application than simple maintenance of the status quo.
